Lisa Carlson, DVM
Doctor Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Lisa is a long time New England girl who made a brief foray to the Midwest to attend Purdue University for her undergraduate studies before returning Tufts University for veterinary school. She spent the time since veterinary school practicing in Massachusetts and Connecticut.
After moving to Connecticut, she practiced for 8 years in South Windsor, had 2 baby boys...who are now 9 and 6, and enjoyed the beauty and tranquility of eastern Connecticut. When a job opportunity arouse for her husband, the thoughts of warm sand and no snow made saying goodbye to Connecticut a little easier. Instead of rolling hills and maple trees, they enjoy the sand and surf, her boys love to fish and they are still amazed that bananas and pineapples grow in their backyard!
